Autism Through Cinema Podcast

ATCPodcast_artwork_dec2020(4).jpg

Where do we see autism represented on screen? What are the ethics of non-autistic actors playing autistic roles? What happens when autism meets certain genres? Is the cinema an autistic medium?

I'm one of the regular hosts of this fabulous podcast from the Autism Through Cinema project based at Queen Mary, University of London. There's five of us, plus the occasional special guest, and we watch films that have some sort of autistic vibe - whether intentional or not - and then talk it through.

It's been a heck of a lot of fun so far, and the discussions are often rather surprising. Do have a listen and get in touch if you have any comments, thoughts, questions, or suggestions! Available on Apple, Spotify, Google, Podbean, and pretty much anywhere you find your podcasts. Or just listen to it here:
